You know the adorable boy Elliot in the movie E.T.? Yes, that is him, Henry Thomas. Now he’s grown up to be a fine man and a good actor.
I have wanted to re-watch “I’m With Lucy”, which I once watched half asleep on a plane. But I was conscious enough to find him on a screen when I had no idea how he looked like after 30 years and I remember I liked him a lot in that movie. Today I finally watched it again, after a few years. OMG. He is, like, what, irresistible. So cute, so smooth, and such a gentle man. I’m telling you, he is underappreciated!!!!
He sorta resembles Colin too. The way he stares at you… And how he looks smart in the suits. Maybe because his character in “I’m With Lucy” is a bit similar to Mark Darcy? Whatever… I need to see more of his movies!! He is totally one of my favorite actors now.
And I found out he is on Valmont with Colin Firth! HOW PERFECT IS THAT.
P.S. David Boreanaz is also on this movie but his character is kind of a jerk lol
I have a feeling my career’s just peaked. My deepest thanks to the Academy. I’m afraid I have to warn you that I’m experiencing stirrings somewhere in the upper abdominals, which are threatening to form themselves into dance moves. Joyous as they may be for me, it would be extremely problematic if they make it to my legs before I get offstage, so I’m going to do my best to be brief with my gratitude first for being on this extraordinary list of fellow nominees, something quite formidable and possibly the greatest honor. All the crew and my fellow cast members, those who are not here and those who are: Geoffrey, Helena, and Guy, who’s virtuosity made it very very difficult for me to be as bad as I was planning to be. And, David Seidler, who’s own struggles have given so many people the benefit of his beautiful voice, and Tom Hooper for the immense courage and clear-sightedness with which he interpreted that. The men who financed this to the screen, Garath, Emile, Iain, Savile, and of course Harvey who first took me on twenty years ago when I was a mere child sensation. All the people who have been rooting for me back home. Also Jessica Kolstad, my friend. Paul Aaron Merris and Chris Andrews for baring with me through the less fortunate moments as well as the good ones. And my very fortunate friendship with Tom Ford to whom I owe a very big piece of this. And to the Anglo-Italian-American-Canadian access which makes up my family. And Livia for putting up with my fleeting delusions of royalty and who I hold responsibly for this and for really everything that’s good that’s happened since I met her. Now if you’ll all excuse me, I have some impulses I have to tend to backstage. Thank you very much.
I saw this and immediately went to the right with my cursor to click on the little heart. Then I realized I was on twitter, and it doesn’t have a “like” feature. I also realized I spend too much time on Tumblr.
I personally don’t like how people typically win awards for acting someone with disorders or impediments, but I want Colin to win this year’s Oscar because I know he deserves it. It is not only about the King’s Speech (although it was a spectacular movie!)
You may be shocked to hear me say this, but there is too much Colin on my dash. 2011 is his year, but now I have to share him with everyone else and I don’t want to:(
Haha sorry for the too much Colin =D I know how you feel! Now he is a super star and we are like… hm… I am truly genuinely happy for him but now he is everyone’s and we are like “hey, we have known him for a long time!”
